Last Friday of 2011!

Today, I am thankful that I decided to trade shifts with a co-worker. Normally I wouldn't say that because today, instead of going into work in the morning, I'm going in at 4. I hate strongly dislike night shifts. I haven't had to work on in quite some time either. It's nice to be able to go into work early and get out while you still have time to do things. Also, I like to be able to be home around the same time as Brian because we can eat dinner together and spend some time together before heading off to bed. Tonight's shift isn't too bad. I'll be working from 4-8 which I can handle. The only problem is that because I was sick on Wednesday I called off and instead of working seven hours today, I'm only working four. I think it's safe to say my check is going to be stinky. God will provide though, for that I am very thankful. Sometimes it's nice to just be able to take a break and relax and get some things done around the house. That's what I'll be doing today. I've already cleaned up the bedroom a little bit and I've got a load of laundry in the washer. I have to put some dishes away and then wash some more. Also, I'd like to be able to get some banana bread baked today. I'm not quite sure I'll have enough bananas though. Brian isn't working too far away from home today so he may be home for lunch. We don't really have much in the house to make so I'm not sure what I would make for him and his co-worker. If they are coming here for lunch I'd like to actually have the house cleaned up and looking nice.


I can't believe this year is almost over. It's been a good year and it's flown by. Hopefully this next year will fly by too because 2013 is going to be great!


Tomorrow will be spent hunting (if I feel better) and being with friends to ring in the new year.
This may also be my last blog post of 2011!
