A Recap

I figured today I'd make up for my lack of posting.
It's been a little over a month and there's a lot that has happened.
Brian and I closed on our house on February 28th and we quickly got busy painting the nursery because we had a special project for it.
We also decided to paint the office because we had new carpet we were going to put in.
The nursery took Brian about two weeks to do because of time and materials but I'm proud to say it is finished and looks great.
Once the bedding is washed and ALL the furniture is here I'll take some pictures and post them.
I love the way it turned out and I know Brian is proud of it.
I kind of feel bad for him because there's really not much he can do when it comes to the baby..obviously. I mean, he can try and feel him kick or watch my belly twitch, but most of the time when he's looking the baby stops everything and he's staring at a beach ball sized stomach.
We finished the two rooms though and we moved in to our house (whether we were really ready or not) on March 24th.
We still have tons of unpacking and organizing to do but I know we have time for that now and we don't need to rush.
We have also been busy at the other house with filling in nail holes and cleaning.
My mom and I will be going there tomorrow to mop floors and wash windows and such.
Thankfully that's really all that's left to do there.

I've reached the 31 weeks and I have no idea where all the time has gone.
I feel like just yesterday we were telling everyone we were going to have a baby and now it's like we have no time left to get anything done!

Brian had foot surgery and was off for six weeks. He just went back to work today and the house feels kind of lonely.
I am now back to dogs and a cat for conversations.  At the moment I'm ok with that but I know I will start to go insane.
My guess is once the baby is here and Brian is working I'll really lose my mind.
Infants and animals don't really hold good conversations...

The snow out here is ridiculous. It's so hard to move when there are snow drifts as tall as you.
Our house is really surrounded by fields so we don't really have anything to "protect" us from the snow. It's windier than all get out but we don't really hear it. We have decent windows too because we never really feel any drafts.

I can't wait for spring and to have our house warming/baby welcoming party!

Off I go to clean and organize a kitchen!
