Today Today Today

Today we find out what our Little Squish will be -- providing Little Squish cooperates!
We have a move on our hands! Squish is already active and doesn't like to stay in one place very long.
We found that out when we had our first ultrasound. We got to watch Squish rock back and forth and flip from his/her back to stomach. It was an awesome thing to see!
Our last appointment the doctor was trying to get Squish's heartbeat and once she found it the baby would move! She wasn't able to actually get an "accurate" heart rate. I asked if it was a "boy heartbeat" or a "girl heartbeat" and she couldn't even tell us that! She wasn't able to listen to it long enough.

I'm really hoping that we find out today because I just don't think I can wait any longer!
I might not be so antsy if it wasn't for Brian though. He really wants to know what we're having to he can "prepare" himself for a girl...just in case!
I know that sounds a little bad, but it's not. He's going to be happy either way.
I don't particularly have a preference. I've always wanted a boy first, you know, so the other sibling has a protective older sibling, especially if that younger sibling happens to be a girl!
I'll be happy either way though. For a while I was thinking we were having a girl, but after our last appointment I've changed my opinion to a boy.
I don't know why I've changed my opinion. I think it was from the last appointment when the baby wouldn't stay still.
After talking to a friend and her mom yesterday though I'm starting to wonder!

In just a couple hours.......
