Goodbye 2012

I love Christmas time. It's one of my favorite times of the year.
I love being able to spend time with family and friends and just relaxing.
Everything just feels so stress free.
2012 went by far too quickly. It seems like it should still be Christmas time. It's flown by and now it's "back to reality."
Even though I currently don't have a job, it just feels depressing.
Maybe it's because Brian has been off of work for so long. (Not really that long, but it felt that way.)
I don't know. I'm just sad to see that time go by.

A little recap from my not-so-exciting 2012:

January - To be honest I can't really remember much that happened in January.
I know I made the decision to go back to school so that was something big.

February - I started school toward the end of February

March - July - March through part of July was pretty uneventful. I was in school and working full time.
The end-ish of July was absolutely awful.
My dad had a heart attack on July 16th. and was admitted to the hospital
He was released on July 22 and that night my Uncle Richard passed away from a heart attack.
It was so hard for me to deal with because I still hadn't dealt with what happened to my dad.

August - my friend's son turned three! It's so fun watching him grow up and I'm not even one of his parents!

September - I was finishing up classes and started my internship with school.
September 30th we found out we were pregnant!
I came home from one of my first days at my internship and I hadn't eaten much that day and all I wanted to eat was pickles and chocolate milk.
Brian knew right at that moment I was pregnant. I just figured it was a weird PMS craving.
He kept asking me if I had "started" yet and I said no, no, it's not a big deal it's coming...hahaha.
He's so smart.
I also quit my job at CVS.

October - We celebrated Brian's big 40th birthday.
It's so weird saying that because he neither looks, nor acts like he's 40.
We also saw our baby for the first time on an ultrasound!
Baby was so squirmy and all over the place!
Hope that's not a sign of what's to come!

November - I finished school completely, internship and all.
I took my boards and passed with flying colors.
I was so nervous that I wasn't going to pass at all!
Three days after I finished my internship I got sick and managed to get better and then get 10 times worse a week later. That lasted for a total of three+ weeks.

December - Without a job, getting things taken care of around the house has been so much easier!
It's been nice to be able to stay home and get organized and such.
I turned 25 ( I feel so old!).
My parent's 30th anniversary and my grandmas birthday were celebrated.
Obviously Christmas was celebrated and then Brian and I got the best Christmas present ever.
We are having a BOY!!

Here's to 2013!
