This past week hasn't been to terribly eventful, except for the fact that I only had school Monday and Tuesday. The first term is over already and Monday we start something new.
I'm still so happy I went back to school. I've taken on a lot more responsibilities but I feel like I have less stress. Funny isn't it?
Monday's - Thursday's I have school until 3:30(ish).
Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's I usually work from either 4-9 or 5-9.
Tuesday's I work before I go to school and Tuesday evening's I have piano which lasts around an hour.
Thursdays I spend the even with my friend Michelle at Chi Alpha.
Fridays, if I'm not working in the evenings it's usually spend with Brian or working on music and the power point for Sunday mornings.
Saturday's I'm usually off and if I don't get music done on Fridays then I'll do music in the morning and have the rest of the day to do whatever.
Sunday's is spent at church and then lunch with family or friends and then home to get the music for the Sunday evening services.
Along with all that I need to try and keep up with the house work.
Brian has been extremely helpful with all the house work, even the dishes, which he hates doing.
This past week has been especially "crappy" because I was under the impression I have/had pneumonia and I wasn't feeling well.
Wednesday I went to my doctor for a follow up.
She told me that everything from the urgent care center had been sent to them and she had a radiologist look over my x-rays...they didn't see any pneumonia.
Instead they saw something called costochondritis (or Tietze Syndrome) they're not sure which one.
Tietze Syndrome is often mistaken for costochondritis because they are very similar.
Tietze Syndrome can mimic a heart attack. It's a benign inflammation of the ribs. It causes swelling of the costal cartilage and costochondritis doesn’t. Tietze’s has the ability to become a chronic condition lasting decades.
According to the doctor, Tietze Syndrome is common in people ranging from 20-40 years old.
I can tell you that it's very uncomfortable. There really isn't anything that causes it (unless you're a body builder and you lift heavy objects all day, or if you work out too much.) There's also not much that can be done to alleviate the pain (all though at this point I wish there was something a little stronger than ibuprofen available over the counter).
I can only hope that it'll go away soon and I won't have to deal with this much longer. It makes it hard to breathe which is why I haven't really been able to get a good breath in lately. (Thank God the past couple days have been better and I've been able to breathe pretty well.)
I am off to enjoy the rest of my night and to hopefully get something in me to make my chest not hurt as much.
Happy Weekend!
Sorry you are so sick!
