Orphans

I don't think a lot of people know about the orphan crisis in this world.
There are so many children without homes and it breaks my heart.
Many people don't really have any involvement in the orphan crisis unless you know of someone who is adopting or who has adopted.
Sure here's plenty of blogs out there for families who are adopting, but do you really take time to read their story?
I know of a couple who have just adopted their third daughter from Eastern Europe.
Why Eastern Europe and not domestically?
Why not?
They're children too, deserving of a better life.
To give you just a small example of the orphan crisis, read this blog.
There are children like this little guy who are totally being left for dead. The only difference is, this little guy has a family fighting for him. They want to bring their son home.
It breaks my heart to know there are so many children out there who may never know the love of a family.
You just don't understand. Adoption is life saving.
Check out my friends Shawn and Sarah.
They've just been blessed with their third daughter with Down Syndrome.
They've already adopted two other girls from Eastern Europe, both with Down Syndrome.
They are beautiful children.
Why pick kids with Down Syndrome?
Again, why not?
They deserve a better life too.
They have no hope in their own country. They're basically left for dead in an orphanage.
Yes, there's care...sometimes.
Other times these facilities just don't have the resources needed.
Please, take the time to educate yourselves about this world wide orphan crisis.
If you're reading Shawn and Sarah's blog, you'll see first hand what a little loving does to a broken soul.
