Sun!

Well, this week hasn't exactly been the best week, but this time it's not work related! (Praise God)! This week it's because I got the "wonderful" phone call at work Monday from my mom telling me my Grandpa died. Not exactly the best way to hear that kind of news but my mom didn't want me to not know. Anyway, aside from that, Brian's surgery is also this week. Come to find out yesterday Brian's surgery and the funeral are the same day. UGH. We will find out today what time Brian's surgery is going to be. Someone from the surgery center is supposed to call him today to schedule the time. Weird way to do it if you ask me, but what do I know? So depending on the time of his surgery, I may be able to make it to the funeral.

On a lighter note: The sun is out and it is beautiful!! It's so nice to be able to walk outside without a coat on, or open the windows all the way and let the fresh air in! I can't wait until 8:00 tonight. Then I have 4 days off! Two of those four will be spent at home with Brian trying to help him out, and I would have ended up with the weekend off anyway. My friend's bridal shower is Saturday and I'm actually looking forward to it. I haven't met any of the other bridesmaids before so this will be the first time. I just realized that I have to make something for it and I don't have the recipe. That was supposed to get sent to me. Time to shoot an email.
