Gloomy Weather

It's been terribly wet around here lately. I think I've used my umbrella more this month than I have since I've owned it. Don't get my wrong, I don't mind the rain (because I don't want the snow to come). It's been kind of a pain though because Brian and I are trying to get our yard cleaned up before the snow flies. It's not really working out too well. The only thing I can say about the backyard is that it would make for a great mud wrestling pit.

Work has been awful lately. I can only hope that I'm not going to be disappointed with this second interview on Friday. I really hope the job doesn't involve pushing a product on people because I can't do that. I will not try and sell something to someone. I don't do a good job at things like that anyways. I keep going back and forth between "well it might be worth it, better pay, better hours" but then I go back to " I couldn't sell my way out of a paper bag" we will see Friday. I know if this is God's will then it will be something that I wouldn't mind doing.

Our house went from looking half way decent to looking like we just moved in again. Brian was busy outside yesterday trying to finish the shed and clean up the yard. Now there's more boxes back in the house. I can say for sure that my plan for Saturday is to try and get this place in order before Christmas. I put some more Christmas lights up last night and I think it's starting to look cute around here (minus the boxes).

I have to get some dishes done and try and put some laundry away before I head to work. I'm almost afraid to come home and see what the house will look like tonight. I have a feeling Brian plans to be busy outside again....

  1. I hope God will show you his will for you in terms of the job soon! Love you! I had a productive day yesterday and got our bathroom shelves all re-organized. :) Took a while (read, all day) but I did it. I just had to take breaks sometimes. And it's something done that needed to be done before baby comes. Next up: Tackle our bedroom :)
