Labor Day and the new house

Tonight I'm cuddled up on the couch in sweatpants and slippers enjoying the lovely cool air God has blessed us with. I love the summer but September, October and November are by far my favorite seasons.  Fall is my favorite season. I'm waiting for spaghetti (which I don't even like) to cook and I figured I'd show off a little of what we did labor day.

I had to work until 5 and we had a friend who was coming over just to help Brian out a little. We decided to grill out and eat with him, then I invited another friend and my parents and we ended up grilling hot dogs and sausages and I made 2 types of pasta salad (one for the normal people of the group with tomatoes, green peppers, hot peppers and italian dressing) and other for my dad who is incredibly picky (with cheese, macaroni, venison, and some olive oil and other seasonings). Brian and our friend Bill built a fire pit and Stacy my mom and I gathered around in the kitchen talking. After we ate we went outside and enjoyed a fire!  My mom and dad had been working very hard on cleaning their house all day so they didn't stay very long. Brian, Bill, Stacy and I sat around the fire and sang some praise and worship songs until about 10:30. We didn't even realize it was that late.

It's so nice to be able to enjoy our OWN backyard with no rude neighbors!

Here are some pictures:
