My guess is that this is just another "wonderful" side effect of pregnancy...
Yesterday I was able to spend the day with one of my best friends.
We decided to have a little "craft day."
If you know me very well, you'll know that I am one of the least crafty people ever.
If I see something that I like I can try and attempt it, but it never looks the way I want it to.
Anyway, more about that in another post.
We did our crafting and visiting and had a good time.
I noticed that I was starting to get a bit of a headache right before I left her house.
I figured it wouldn't be a big deal because I've had headaches since being pregnant and they usually aren't to bad --more a of a nuisance than anything else.
Well, by the time I got home it was getting a little worse.
Since being pregnant, I've really tried to avoid taking medicine for anything.
Brian got home a little while after me and at that point I was on the couch trying to get my headache to go away. I was relaxing and trying to just lay with my eyes closed and be calm.
With a house the size of mine and having two dogs and a cat, serenity isn't exactly abounding.
We were trying to figure out what to do for dinner and at that point I could barely concentrate. I was freezing and I was getting to the point where I really couldn't keep my eyes open because the light was bothering me.
We ended up figuring out dinner and Brian was nice enough to make it.
I felt just a tad better after eating but it still not good. Brian came back in and was rubbing my neck and head and that wasn't even helping.
It got to the point where I was kneeling on the floor and he was rubbing my neck and I ended up falling asleep.
I don't know if this is a typical thing with migraines or if it's just how they effect me, but I feel exhausted and I can go to sleep almost right away with a migraine.
Anyway, to make a long story short (too late) I ended up going to bed and laying on an ice pack only to get up, throw up, get back into bed and fall right to sleep.
I'm still not feeling 100% today.
