Yesterday was my birthday. We really didn't do much. I had to work until 5 and Brian had something to do in the shed for a little bit. We ended up just going to eat at panera (I wish I would have taken some pictures). You can never go wrong with panera (unless you're counting calories - then you want to run in the opposite direction). Their food is always good, not necessarily cheap. We were able to get seats around the fireplace and we just sat around. We didn't really have too much to say which was kind of a bummer. I was hoping for some good conversation. We were both really tired though which I'm sure had something to do with it. After we ate we came home and nothing, literally. I read some blogs and Brian sat on the couch and pet the cat. See, literally nothing. We were both so tired and sore we just wanted to go to sleep. I think Brian felt bad because he wanted to make my birthday a little special. He got me a bow case for my bow and some hunting clothes. At work Debbie bought me a cake and Jeff bought everyone food (it was also quite tasty). All in all it was a fairly good day. It's a bummer we were both so tired though because I would have liked to do more like to go karaoke or something. Oh well, that's what happens when you get old I suppose!
Today will probably be spent pulling music for the church service tomorrow and cleaning the house. My friends Michelle and Alyssa and I will be heading out to do some "shopping" I'm not going to be getting anything due to the fact we are very tight on money this month. We are all going dressed as something though, so that should be entertaining. Michelle is going to be an elf, I'm going to be a reindeer and Alyssa will be Santa. The funny thing about Alyssa being Santa is that she's incredibly tiny and would definitely make a better elf! I'll be sure to post a picture later on.
Tonight is also our Church Christmas dinner. We didn't sign up for it though (oops, we forgot). Maybe tonight will be spent putting up more Christmas lights. It's nice to have a house to decorate for the holidays. Christmas and Thanksgiving are my favorites. I'm kind of bummed that I didn't get any fall-ish decorations. It would have been nice to have the house decorated for fall. It's ok though. There's always time for decorating when we get our bigger house that we actually OWN.
Happy Birthday again! Hope you had a great birthday!! :) *HUGS*
